On the morning of August 17, our company was invited to participate in the American White Moth Disaster Emergency Prevention Drill hosted by the Anhui Provincial Major Forestry Pest Control Headquarters and undertaken by the Bengbu City Major Forestry Pest Control Headquarters.

American white moth is a worldwide quarantine pest that cannibalize more than 300 species of forest trees and crops. The insect has been harmed for many generations in Anhui in one year, and has the characteristics of large reproduction, strong adaptability, rapid spread, and larvae disturbing the population.

In recent years, the epidemic situation of white moths in the United States has occurred in many places, and it has shown a rapid spread. The large area between Anhui and Anhui has been infested by white moths in the United States, and it has continued to spread southward. Prevention and control tasks It is very arduous, and it is imperative to take decisive measures to resolutely contain the harm of the American white moth.

Comrade Zhang Shuguang, Deputy Governor of the Provincial Government and Commander of the Provincial Major Forestry Pest Prevention and Control Command, personally acted as the commander of the drill for the US White Moth Disaster Emergency Prevention and Control Exercise; Comrade Niu Xiangyang, Director of the Provincial Forestry Department, presided over the exercise; the people of Bengbu City Mayor Wang Cheng made a speech.

In his speech, Mayor Wang Cheng introduced the comprehensive mobilization of Bengbu City, the hands of all people, and innovative prevention and control mechanisms to achieve green prevention and sustainable prevention and control of forestry pests on the basis of ensuring the effectiveness of prevention and control. This exercise is an opportunity to comprehensively improve the rapid response and emergency response capabilities of major forestry pests in Bengbu City to ensure the safety of forest resources and the harmony and stability of the economy and society.

The exercises are divided into two parts: static display of prevention equipment and dynamic exercises.

The drill site showed and demonstrated our company's stainless steel backpack-type smoke machine, large-scale smoke machine, vehicle-mounted high-range sprayer, crawler self-propelled high-range sprayer, spray duster and other forestry pest control equipment. The effect has been unanimously recognized!

With the joint efforts of all staff of our company, this exercise was a complete success.

The emergency exercise was conducted in five stages: disaster monitoring, information reporting, plan response, emergency response, and prevention effectiveness evaluation. The scenes were realistically simulated, the measures were accurate, the organization and scheduling were orderly, and the command was coordinated and efficient.

After the exercise, Niu Xiangyang, director of the Provincial Forestry Department, asked the relevant departments in all regions to do a good job in monitoring, early warning, quarantine, inspection, emergency prevention and control, and comprehensive management of forestry pests. Improve emergency plans, establish a rapid response mechanism, and improve disaster control capabilities. Strengthen emergency measures, conscientiously do a good job in the formation of emergency teams, emergency supplies reserves, etc., to further improve the province's emergency prevention capabilities.
